The ODU LAMTAC® high‐performance contact system with lamella technology ensures highly reliable and stable signal transmission. The contact system consists of a contact body with one or more punched lamella strips and a matching contact pin. This design with parallel lamella louvres guarantees a high degree of safety thanks to the large number of contact points as well as low, stable contact resistance. You also benefit from high vibration resistance thanks to the optimized contact geometry and high‐quality coatings. This adaptable and scalable contact system can be reliably used in a range of connector solutions for challenging operating conditions.

ODU LAMTAC® contact technology can be easily modified and adapted to suit a wide range of requirements. This is made possible thanks to a large modular system of different standard contact lamellae, materials, coating options and connection technologies.

Flexibility

ODU LAMTAC® is even suitable for installation in hard‐to‐reach areas and locations with space constraints. Special materials and state‐of‐the‐art manufacturing processes ensure optimal performance with the smallest possible footprint.

Scalability

The ODU LAMTAC® contact system is easily scalable and available in a wide range of dimensions, from contact diameters of 1.5 mm to 16 mm and even larger. It can thus be flexibly adapted to the required current carrying capacity.

Protection against contact

Particularly with larger contact diameters, sufficient touch protection can no longer be achieved via the housing alone. With appropriate contact sizes, an additional contact protection pin can be integrated into the ODU LAMTAC® contact system for this purpose.
